Telegram Account Information (Optional)
If you voluntarily choose to link your Telegram account to receive instant notifications, we collect limited Telegram account identifiers, including:
- Telegram Chat ID (used exclusively for message routing and delivery)
- Telegram Username and First Name (used to identify your connected account)
Linking your Telegram account is completely optional. You can unlink your Telegram account at any time directly within the application or by sending /unlink to the bot.

- Courses enrolled by the user

Device Information (for Security Purposes)
To protect user accounts and prevent unauthorized access or account sharing, we collect limited device-related information, including:
- A unique device identifier
- Device name and model
- Operating system (Android, iOS, or Web)

2. How We Use Information
The collected information is used strictly to:
- Verify user identity and provide secure login access
- Send one-time verification codes (OTP) via email or WhatsApp
- Display courses the user is enrolled in
- Enable downloading educational videos for offline viewing

- Send instant lesson announcements, schedule updates, and security alerts via Telegram (for linked accounts only)

3. Offline Content & Local Storage
The Service allows users to download educational videos for offline viewing.
- Downloaded content is stored securely within the application
- Files cannot be accessed, copied, or used outside the application
- Offline content remains protected and linked to the user's account
4. Third-Party Services
We use limited third-party services strictly to operate the Service:
Messaging & Notification Services
- Used exclusively to deliver one-time verification codes (OTP) and essential service notifications
Telegram Bot API
- Used solely to deliver automated lesson announcements, schedule updates, and security notifications to users who have voluntarily linked their Telegram account
- No passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data are ever transmitted via Telegram
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Used only for important service notifications
- No analytics or user behavior tracking is performed
Bunny Storage
- Used to securely host and deliver educational video content
- No personal user data is shared with Bunny Storage
5. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security measures to protect user data, including:
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Restricted access to personal information
- Encrypted storage of sensitive data, including device identifiers
6. Account Deletion & Data Removal
Users may delete their account at any time.
- Account deletion can be initiated from within the application
- All personal, device-related, and third-party link data (including WhatsApp OTP records and Telegram linking identifiers) are permanently removed upon deletion
- No user data is retained after account deletion
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Efham IFRS Academy Player — Windows PC App

The Efham IFRS Academy Player is a companion Windows desktop application available on the Microsoft Store. It is designed to provide secure playback of educational video content, including streaming from the Efham IFRS Academy mobile app over a local Wi-Fi network.
This section describes the specific privacy practices of the Windows PC application. The general Efham IFRS Academy Privacy Policy above also applies where relevant.
1. Authentication & Account Access
To protect educational content and verify user identity, the PC app requires sign-in using your existing Efham IFRS Academy account:
- Same Account Authentication: Users must log in using the same email address registered with their Efham IFRS Academy mobile app account.
- No Separate Account Registration: There is no separate account registration required; you log in directly with your existing academy credentials.
- Secure Email OTP Verification: Login is authenticated using a one-time verification passcode (OTP) sent directly to your registered email address.
- Identity Verification & Content Protection: Sign-in is strictly required to verify identity, ensure authorized access to enrolled courses, and prevent unauthorized sharing or piracy of proprietary educational content.
2. Information Collected by the PC App
We collect only the minimum information necessary to authenticate access and protect educational content:
- Email Address: Used solely to authenticate your identity, send login verification codes (OTP), and check course access permissions.
- Device Identification (Security Lock): A unique hardware identifier (Machine GUID), device name, operating system version, and application version are collected to register your authorized PC and prevent unauthorized account sharing.
- User Profile: Your account display name and avatar may be retrieved to personalize the app interface.
The PC app does not collect passwords, payment details, browsing history, or geolocation data.
3. How the App Works & Network Access
- Local Wi-Fi Streaming: The PC app can connect directly to the Efham IFRS Academy mobile app on your local Wi-Fi network. Video streamed locally between devices remains on your local network.
- Secure Cloud Verification: The app connects securely via HTTPS to verify email OTP codes, confirm active course licenses, check for app updates, and report technical errors.
- Required Network Capabilities: The app requires standard internet client capabilities (
internetClient) for authentication and update checks, as well as local network capabilities (privateNetworkClientServer) for direct device-to-device streaming.
4. Content Protection & Storage
All video content and educational materials accessed through the PC app are protected against unauthorized copying, export, or distribution. No unencrypted video files are stored on your computer.
5. Crash Reporting (Anonymous)
To improve stability and fix issues, the app uses Sentry for anonymous crash reporting.
- Only technical crash data is collected (error type, stack trace, app version)
- No personal information, user identity, or video content is included in crash reports
- Performance tracking and user interaction tracing are fully disabled
- Crash reports are retained for a limited period and used solely for debugging purposes
6. No Third-Party Advertising or Tracking
The Efham IFRS Academy Player does not contain any advertising, behavioral tracking, analytics SDKs, or data sharing with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
7. Microsoft Store
The app is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may collect usage data in accordance with their own privacy practices as part of the Store platform. Please refer to Microsoft's Privacy Statement for details.
8. Children's Privacy
The Efham IFRS Academy Player is not directed at children under the age of 13. The application is intended for adult learners enrolled in Efham IFRS Academy educational programs.
